Founder (2022-2024)
Faeroes produced exceptional contemporary rainwear, handmade in Scotland.
The brand was inspired by The Shipping Forecast and a nation's relationship with the weather- exploring ideas of Britishness, belonging, and uncertainty in the changing times ahead.I designed the collection and launched the brand online.
FAEROES
(pl. noun) also written Faroes;
pronounced /‘fɛərəʊz / as in ‘pharaohs’. See also: Faroe Isles or Faroese.
A collection of 21 basalt islands in the North Atlantic. In 1932, this self-governing community gave its name to The British Shipping Forecast location between Southeast Iceland and Fair Isle. Known as the ‘land of maybe’, it is not uncommon to experience all four seasons in one hour.
